Suits and Daggers

In Suits and Daggers, you'll be simulating intrigue between 4 schemers with hidden allegiances.

Each player will attempt to gather their political backers in secret, while also guessing the identity of the other players and hindering/helping them according to your guess.

What you'll need:
- J, Q, K and Ace of all 4 suits of a playing card deck

Setup:
1. Shuffle the Aces, deal a random one to each player face-down. Only the owner may see their Ace. Players with Diamond/Heart Aces are team Red, Spade/Club Aces are team Black.

2. Shuffle the rest of the cards. Deal them to the players, 3 each.

3. Play rock-paper-scissors. Loser goes first.

Win condition:
- Have J, Q, K of the same suit as your Ace's

- Your teammate has J, Q, K of the same suit as their Ace

Progression:
- Current player and the player to their left will each prepare 1 card from their hands, then show them simultaneously.
    1. If either player only has 1 card in their entire hand, swap the cards
    2. If one of the cards is of the same suit but 1 rank higher than the other card, whoever showed that higher card takes both (Ex: ❤︎Q vs. ❤︎J)
    3. If both cards are the same rank, player to the left takes both (Ex: ❤︎K vs. ♧K)
    4. If none of the above applies, swap the cards.

- Then, pass turn to the player to the left.

- Continue until someone meets the win condition.
